D\u2019ailleurs, pour un Back To Basic tr\u00e8s 80s des syst\u00e8mes d&rsquo;alarme, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ass-security.fr\/blog\/histoire-des-systemes-dalarme\/\"><strong>c&rsquo;est par ici<\/strong><\/a> ! Plus pragmatiquement, la fin des ann\u00e9es 80 sonne tout simplement comme l\u2019\u00e8re post informatique par excellence avec de tr\u00e8s nombreuses innovations pens\u00e9es, imagin\u00e9es et parfaitement d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es comme la technologie RAID qui avait pour but, l\u2019\u00e9limination des \u00e9normes et couteux disques durs au format 6,5 et 9,5 pouces \u00e9quipant de gros serveurs de fichiers d\u2019\u00e9poque. La technologie RAID fut pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e en 1987 \u00e0 travers l\u2019excellent article \u00ab\u2009<strong>A Case for Redundant Arrays of Inexpensive Disks<\/strong>\u2009\u00bb r\u00e9dig\u00e9 par David Patterson, R. Katz et Garth Gibson\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RAID pour <strong>Redundant Array of Independent Disks<\/strong> est une technologie permettant d\u2019unifier au sein d\u2019une seule et m\u00eame unit\u00e9 logique de stockage, plusieurs disques durs pr\u00e9sents de mani\u00e8re physique. Cette symbiose parfaite entre un ensemble (ou agr\u00e9gat) de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ass-security.fr\/blog\/disque-dur-seagate-hdd-8to-videosurveillance\/\"><strong>disques dur<\/strong><\/a> permet d\u2019apporter \u00e0 cette union appel\u00e9e \u00ab\u2009grappe\u2009\u00bb une excellente tol\u00e9rance aux pannes ou tout simplement d\u2019accroitre les performances globales de mani\u00e8re significative. RAID se d\u00e9compose en 6 niveaux allant de <strong>RAID 0<\/strong> \u00e0 <strong>RAID 6<\/strong> en passant par des niveaux combin\u00e9s de type RAID-50 pour les plus utilis\u00e9, et plus anecdotique, les niveaux RAID-55 ou 53 que tr\u00e8s faiblement utilis\u00e9s, car n\u00e9cessitant un contr\u00f4leur RAID pour r\u00e9aliser les calculs de parit\u00e9 sur deux niveaux. Les serveurs d\u2019entreprise, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ass-security.fr\/blog\/autosploit-shodan-metasploit-vers-une-automatisation-du-piratage-des-objets-connectes-iot\/\">DataCenter<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ass-security.fr\/blog\/test-avis-nas-asustor-as6404t\/\">NAS<\/a><\/strong> et bien s\u00fbr NVR ou encore DVR sont une vraie <em>Fan Base<\/em> de la technologie RAID. Dans notre cas, ce sont particuli\u00e8rement les solutions de stockage vid\u00e9osurveillance qui nous int\u00e9ressent pour le d\u00e9ploiement d\u2019une architecture RAID. RAID est universel et standard, pourtant certain type de RAID peuvent \u00eatre propri\u00e9taire aux fabricants de stockage. Nous citerons RAID S, RAID Matrix, ou encore <strong>X-RAID<\/strong>.Les disques durs n\u2019ont pas vraiment une vie des plus passionnantes\u2026 Jour et nuit, et H24 ils op\u00e8rent telles des entit\u00e9s au service de l\u2019homme en effectuant leurs op\u00e9rations de routines de type lecture\/\u00e9criture. Pire, leurs chemins de vie est compt\u00e9s en ann\u00e9e de mani\u00e8re plut\u00f4t pr\u00e9cise gr\u00e2ce au <strong>MTBF<\/strong> <em>Mean Time Between Failures<\/em> (temps moyen entre pannes) ce qui permet de d\u00e9finir avec pr\u00e9cision le moment o\u00f9 il sera temps de sonner leur glas. Autant dire, la r\u00e9incarnation en disque-dur n\u2019est pas un choix des plus pragmatique&#8230; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce fameux MTBF assure que fatalement, une d\u00e9faillance se produira. Qu\u2019on le veuille ou non, elle arrivera\u2009! Le <strong>RAID<\/strong>, et principalement les niveaux 1, 5 et 10 vont permettre d\u2019assurer cette chute pr\u00e9m\u00e9dit\u00e9e en assurant une redondance qui \u00e9vitera de perdre l\u2019int\u00e9grit\u00e9 des donn\u00e9es pr\u00e9sentes sur l\u2019unit\u00e9 logique de stockage. RAID vas fonctionner de mani\u00e8re math\u00e9matique, mais les probabilit\u00e9s des d\u00e9faillances ne sont pas impossibles malgr\u00e9 la multiplication des disques durs physiques. En effet, une panne mat\u00e9rielle sur l\u2019ensemble des disques durs composant la grappe est malheureusement possible. La <strong>loi de Murphy<\/strong> s\u2019applique \u00e9galement dans le milieu du stockage\u2026 Toutefois, en combinant le nombre de disques durs sur notre unit\u00e9 logique, on diminue grandement les chances de perte totale. Pour des applications ou la performance l\u2019emporte sur la s\u00e9curit\u00e9, RAID 0 arrive tel un leadership bodybuild\u00e9 et dop\u00e9 aux <em><strong>strippings<\/strong><\/em> en proposant la multiplication des disques de stockage dans le but d\u2019accroitre les performances g\u00e9n\u00e9rales en phase de lecture\/\u00e9criture&#8230; Dans le domaine du RAID, l\u2019id\u00e9al est de bien choisir son niveau afin de b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier d\u2019un \u00e9quilibre performance\/s\u00e9curit\u00e9. RAID 0 vas nous permettre d\u2019optimiser les performances globales, RAID 1 quant \u00e0 lui, nous offrira une minimisation des risques de d\u00e9faillance par mise en miroirs des disques. Cette combinaison de RAID 0 et RAID 1 nous apporte le niveau \u00ab\u2009<strong>RAID 10<\/strong>\u2009\u00bb qui permet de cr\u00e9er de multiples miroirs au-dessus duquel on ajoute de l\u2019entrelacement (<em>strip<\/em> typique de RAID-0). Une association quasi-parfaite et magistralement orchestr\u00e9e n\u00e9cessitant l\u2019usage de 4 disques durs de taille \u00e9quivalente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Dossier RAID Stockage : Le choix d\u2019une solution utilisant un des diff\u00e9rents niveau de RAID va nous permettre de b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier :<\/h2>\n\n\n\n[ul type=\u00a0\u00bbdot\u00a0\u00bb][li] <strong>De meilleures performances<\/strong> selon l\u2019usage que l\u2019on souhaite en faire. RAID 0 apporte sans aucun doute les meilleures performances face aux autres niveaux, mais en contrepartie, fait abstraction totale \u00e0 tol\u00e9rance aux pannes. Pour information, en RAID 0, la perte d\u2019un seul et unique disque dur physique engendre la perte de l\u2019int\u00e9gralit\u00e9 des donn\u00e9es au sein de la grappe. [\/li][\/ul]\n\n\n\n[ul type=\u00a0\u00bbdot\u00a0\u00bb][li] <strong>D\u2019une meilleure tol\u00e9rance aux pannes<\/strong> : les niveaux RAID 1 et RAID 5 apportent un niveau de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 \u00e9lev\u00e9 avec des phases de reconstruction diff\u00e9rentes entre RAID 1 et 5. RAID 5 permet la reconstruction du disque manquant en s\u2019appuyant sur le contenu des autres disques pr\u00e9sents sur la grappe. RAID 1 quand \u00e0 lui proc\u00e8de \u00e0 une copie de type \u00ab\u2009disque \u00e0 disque\u2009\u00bb. [\/li][\/ul]\n\n\n\n<p>Soulignons que les phases de reconstructions lors d\u2019un remplacement d\u2019un disque d\u00e9fectueux dans une <strong>grappe RAID<\/strong> sont des moments particuli\u00e8rement sensibles et stressants (pensons \u00e0 l\u2019homme\u2009!). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Qu\u2019il soit de type 1, 5 ou 6, la grappe doit se reconstituer afin de rattraper son \u00ab\u2009retard\u2009\u00bb. La phase de \u00ab\u2009reconstruction\u2009\u00bb peut prendre plusieurs heures ou jours selon la taille totale de la grappe. En <strong>RAID 5<\/strong>, il s\u2019agit d\u2019une phase particuli\u00e8rement d\u00e9licate ou la grappe est mise \u00e0 rude \u00e9preuve avec un risque \u00e9lev\u00e9 de panne sur le second disque. Le facteur temps est un \u00e9l\u00e9ment cl\u00e9 lors de la reconstruction de la grappe. Il augmente drastiquement les risques de d\u00e9faillance d\u2019un second disque dur en raison de la forte monopolisation des ressources. Pour conclure, afin d\u2019assurer un <strong>\u00e9quilibre parfait<\/strong> permettant d\u2019augmenter les performances globales, la capacit\u00e9 et la tol\u00e9rance aux pannes, le choix d\u2019un niveau 5, 6 ou 10 permet de r\u00e9pondre de mani\u00e8re judicieuse \u00e0 c\u2019est diff\u00e9rentes attentes. Le choix du niveau 0 restera lui \u00e0 d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 une optique de capacit\u00e9s de stockage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dossier RAID Stockage : Les grands principes du stockage utilisant la notion de RAID en quelques lignes&#8230;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Les niveaux de <strong>RAID<\/strong> permettent d\u2019organiser les disques durs de telle sorte que le syst\u00e8me d\u2019exploitation int\u00e9gr\u00e9 \u00e0 notre stockeur num\u00e9rique ne voie qu\u2019une seule unit\u00e9 logique de stockage. Pour des applications de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ass-security.fr\/videosurveillance-camera\/\"><strong>vid\u00e9osurveillance<\/strong><\/a>, RAID 1 est le minimum. RAID 0 r\u00e9pondra quant \u00e0 lui \u00e0 des applications de traitements d\u2019image\/vid\u00e9o n\u00e9cessitant des temps d\u2019acc\u00e8s courts et d\u2019excellentes performances. La <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ass-security.fr\/blog\/dossier-choisir-camera-videosurveillance-ip\/\"><strong>vid\u00e9osurveillance<\/strong><\/a> n\u00e9cessite surtout une redondance de type miroir pour garantir une int\u00e9grit\u00e9 parfaite des donn\u00e9es en temps r\u00e9el. Dans une architecture RAID, plusieurs fonctionnalit\u00e9s peuvent \u00eatre utilis\u00e9es et combin\u00e9es pour offrir un juste \u00e9quilibre entre performance et
